Susan E. McConnell Brady ’87

Susan died Dec. 19, 2024. She grew up in Silver Spring, Md., and lived in her hometown for much of her life.
Susan majored in psychology and was a member of Terrace Club. She was active in our community, serving as secretary and sitting on the Governance Board of the Third World Center, as a member of the USG Race Relations Committee, and worked with the Coalition for Divestment. She worked in production at Theatre Intime and was a Big Sister.
After graduating, Susan attended Howard University Law School. She practiced at Krooth & Altman and became an assistant vice president and senior claims consultant at the financial services firm WTW. She stayed active with Princeton as a career services volunteer, an ASC interviewer, and a member of the ABPA. She had five dogs, a source of joy in her life. 
Susan is survived by her husband, Terrence, for whom she was best friend and moral compass; by her mother, Regina McConnell; her brother, Dudley McConnell and his wife, Xio Mei; her niece, Miranda McConnell; and by many other cousins, relatives, and friends.
