Thomas F. Paddock ’21
Thomas Paddock died on July 7, 1989, at the age of ninety. A native of Detroit, he prepared for college at the Taft School. Tom and his brother Ben (who died in 1976) entered Princeton and roomed together. Tom was active in undergraduate activities, including the tennis team, the Musical Club, and the Triangle Club. He was a member of Colonial Club.
During his business career, Tom was associated with brokerage and investment-banking firms in Detroit. A hard-working alumnus, he served as president of the Princeton Club of Michigan and was a member of the Michigan Special Gifts Committee.
Tom retired to Hilton Head, S.C., in 1971 and lived there the rest of his life. Nancy, his wife of 52 years, predeceased him in 1985. He is survived by a stepdaugh¬ter, five step-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grand¬children. The class extends its most sincere sympathy to them all.
