Thomas H. Moore Jr. ’30
THE CLASS REGRETFULLY reports the death of Tom Moore on Feb. 1, 1993, at his home in West Caldwell, N.J. Tom was born in Philadelphia and lived in Boston and Brooklyn. He attended Princeton Preparatory School.
At Princeton, Tom roomed with Jack Whyte and Bill Keith, and was a member of Tiger Inn. He pursued an advertising career and served in four different agencies, including Ted Bates and the prestigious J. Walter Thompson. He then freelanced as a marketing consultant. He met his wife, Margaret Moore, when they were young copywriters.
During WWII, he served four years in the South Pacific with the 24th Division. Tom was a quiet man with a keen sense of humor, a devoted Princetonian, and a family man. He died with grace and courage.
To his widow and daughters, Mary Catherine and Marianne Alameda, we extend sympathy.
