Thomas Quinn Lebrun ’53

He was introduced to Mexico by Tony Giraud, a native of that country who was his Peddie School classmate and Princeton roommate. They belonged to Cloister Inn, as did Tom’s other roommates George Cadeu, Terry Connolly, and Jim Dwyer. Tom majored in basic engineering.  

After graduation, Tom enlisted for two years in the Army and earned a business-management degree at MIT’s Sloan School of Business. He then moved to Dallas and established three successful computer-related firms: Recognition Equipment, BancTec, and Digital Image Systems. In 1987, he and Angela Porcu were married, and after his retirement they settled in Puerto Vallarta. They traveled worldwide.  

Tom had a sense of adventure and was an accomplished sailor and pilot. He was creative, inventive, a maverick, and he read voraciously.  

He was the love of Angela’s life and devoted to his family, which also included sons Thomas, Walter, and Edward; daughters Michelle and Amanda LeBrun Anderson; and one granddaughter. God bless you, Tom, and good journey.
