TOM DIED June 10, 1994. He lived in West Park, N.Y. Tom was born in Montreal and prepared for college at Lawrenceville. At Princeton, he was in the band (drum major) and in Triangle. He belonged to Cap & Gown and his roommates were Larry Davis, Bob Williams, and Johnny Booth Stevens.

An early business connection was with the Eberhard Faber Pencil Co., where he served as president and chair for three years. He was also chair of the Rudel Machinery Co. of Montreal, and was founder, president, and chair of the Rudel Machinery Co. of New York. He was a member and director of the New York State Pension Fund. His memberships included the Army Ordnance Assn., American Machine Tools Assn., Creek Club in Long Island, Fishers Island Country Club, Kanawaki Gold Club in Montreal, and Queen City Club in Cincinnati.

Tom is survived by his second wife, Margaret Murchison Rudolph; a daughter Barbara R. Wendt; a brother John; and a sister Elizabeth Smith Gatov. The class extends its sympathy to Tom's family.
