Thomas Tutt Fraser ’50

Body

Tutt Fraser died Jan. 23, 1995, in Sharon, Conn., near the farm he had acquired in Kent in the late 1950s. A native of the N.Y.C. area, Tutt joined the class with the large delegation from Exeter and roomed with Pas Mitchell. He became a member of Quadrangle Club, but left the university after sophomore year.

After some travel and further study in Paris, he served in the Air Force before returning to N.Y.C., where he started in the investment and land business. His entire career was spent with Aztec Land and Cattle Co., which was based in N.Y.C., but which often took him to other parts of the country.

In 1960, Tutt married Sara Janet Meiklejohn of Kenya, who predeceased him. He is survived by sons Ian and Hugh, brother George Fraser '45, nephew Andrew Fraser '77, and sisters Sarah Jane and Dorothy. To each of them, the class extends its deepest sympathy.
