Tom graduated from Peabody High School in Pittsburgh. At Princeton he majored in math and joined Terrace Club. His roommates were Jack Howell and Marshall Lowe.

In 1953 he earned a certificate from St. Louis University and in 1959, a master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a principal engineering fellow at Honeywell from 1964 until 1987, when he retired.

Tom died April 23, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Antoinette; and his son, Thomas Jr. The class offers its condolences.
