TIMOTHY L. BOCK *82 died Dec. 19, 1992, at the age of 39, after a long illness. Dr. Bock was born in Corvallis, Ore., in 1953. During his youth, he resided in Bowling Green and Tiffin, Ohio. He earned his bachelor' s degree from Oberlin College in 1974 and was a Fulbright Scholar in Munich during the years 1974 and 1975. He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics in 1982 at Princeton. His professional career as engineering analyst, mathematician, and computer analyst was pursued in California with Aerospace Corp., PacificSierra Research, and MacNeal Schwendler Corp. He is survived by his widow, Jamie; their two daughters, Elizabeth and Meredith; his parents; a brother; and a sister. The family has requested that any memorial gifts be made in his name to the favorite charity of the donor. To Mrs. Bock and all the family, we extend sympathy in his death at so early an age.
