Varnum C. Mead ’21

VARNUM C. MEAD died Sept. 3, 1990, after a long illness. He was 92 years old. He was born and lived all his life in Massachusetts. He prepared at Lawrenceville. At Princeton he was on the track squad and in Terrace. Varney spent his business career with DwinellWright Co coffee importers, where he was assistant treasurer.

He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Peters two granddaughters, and two greatgranddaughters, to whom the Class extends sincere sympathy.
