VIN MULFORD, who had lived in Tulsa, Okla., for many years and was regional chairman for the Class of '33 in the Midwest region, died on Oct. 29, 1989.

Vin was born Feb. 24, 1911, in Montclair, N.J., where he also grew up. He prepared at Choate. At Princeton he was a member of Key and Seal. He roomed with Harry Cropper.

After college Vin attended Harvard Business School and then joined Chemical Bank in N.Y.C. Later he became V.P. of the General Banknote Co.

During WWII he spent five years in the Army, coming out as a major in the field artillery.

After the war, Vin moved to Tulsa, where he dealt in oil royalties and other investments. He was active in trade associations, philanthropic and civic affairs, and was a leading Princetonian. He was a mainstay of the Princeton Club of Tulsa, and served as a regional representative on the Graduate Council.

On Dec. 7, 1955, Vin married Rosamond (Posy) Fandel Boerner, who survives him. He is also survived by three children (by a former marriage): John B. '61, of Eugene, Oreg, Robert D., of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Elizabeth Mulford, of Cupertino, Calif.; by two stepdaughters, Patricia Olsen, of Tulsa, and Margaret Boerner, of Arlington, Va.; by a brother, Donald L,. of Upper Montclair; and by seven grandchildren, including Catherine L. Mulford '90, of Walnut Creek.
