Wayne Kyrel Meschter ’35
Born in Philadelphia, he came to Princeton from Abington High School and Penn Charter. He was an economics major and a member of Arbor Inn.
We do not know much about his life, but we do know that he retired in 1980 as a vice president of the then-Girard Bank in Philadelphia, having led a division dealing with trusts and estates. A lifelong Schwenkfelder (a Protestant Reformation church originating in Silesia in Germany), Kyrel devoted much of his avocational life to the church, especially including, after his retirement, producing a Schwenkfelder history and related activities.
He was survived at the time of his death by his wife, Barbara, and three daughters.
