William D. Clark ’82

Body

WILLIAM DEAN CLARK DIED at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia, on February 12, 1993, of AIDS. He graduated from New Hope (Penn.) Solebury H.S. in 1975. He was originally a member of the Class of 1979, and graduated in 1982 with a major in English.

After graduation, he worked for two years as a production editor for Automobile Quarterly Publications in Princeton. In 1985, he moved to Philadelphia and became a marketing coordinator for the architectural firm Francis Cauffman Foley Hoffman. He also had a consulting business called My Science Project, Inc. In 1990, he became marketing coordinator for Ballinger, another Philadelphia firm.

A memorial service was held at Episcopal of the Holy Trinity, Philadelphia. William's father gave a very moving eulogy, according to a former colleague who attended the service.

A quiet and sensitive soul, William is survived by his parents Anderson and Julia, and a sister, Holland Schrunk. We extend our condolences to them, and to all his friends.
