Bill died May 14, 2018, in Ruckersville, Va.

He was a graduate of Amesbury High School (which burned down in 1964) in Amesbury, Mass., where he had been active on the football and track teams and was active in student government.

Bill and Marcia were married in 1957 in Tamworth, N.H. They moved to the Chicago area, where they lived for more than 40 years. Bill was a civil engineer. In 2002 they moved to Williamsburg, Va.

Marcia died in 2017. Bill is survived by their three children, William, Gregory, and Tamara; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. The class extends sincere condolences to them all.
