BILL HARRISON DIED Oct. 7, 1990, in Louisville, Ky., where he lived all his life. Most of his business career was with the Taylor Drug Co., a family concern of 46 chain drug stores. He retired in 1983 as chairman and C.E.O. He served as senior warden of his church, as a director of the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Board, as a director of the First National Bank of Louisville, as a director of the National Assn. of Chain Drug Stores, and as officer or director of the Community Chest, the Kentucky Branch of the American Cancer Society, the Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Health, the mayor's emergency commission on integration and Other civic organizations, Since retirement, he had enjoyed travel, hunting, fishing, golf, gardening, and playing poker. He had also developed an interest in the opera, ballet, and symphony,

Bill had a distinguished war record as a captain in the field artillery. He received the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star, and a distinguished Unit Badge.

At Princeton, Bill majored in politics and was a member of Triangle Club, the TwoFoot Club, and Cottage Club. Bill attended our 25th and 50th reunions.

His first wife, Louise Taylor, died in 1964. They had three sons and a daughter, and there are seven grandchildren. Bill married Sophia Hanna Harrison in 1973. David P, Reynolds '38 is his brotherinlaw. To all of them the Class of '36 extends its sincere sympathy.
