BILL TAYLOR, chairman emeritus of the Chicago securities firm The Illinois Co., now known as Hamilton Investments, died Mar. 15, 1993, in the Evanston Hospital. He entered the brokerage business after WWII, during which he had served three years in the Army Quartermaster Corps.

Bill was a board member of the Wendy Hill Case Cancer Fund and a member of the Sunset Ridge Club and the University Club in Chicago. In the '60s, he served as regional chairman for Annual Giving. After retirement, he traveled extensively and for a time was a member of the Adventurers Club.

Surviving are Bill's wife of 56 years, Georgiatia (Georgie) Moore Taylor, a 1935 Vassar graduate; two sons, Stephen and Bradford; four daughters, Leslie Taylor Wynn, Marquiss T. Pattinson, Celia Taylor, and Arief T. Hockmeyer; and two granddaughters; to whom we offer our sympathies.
