BILL DIED Jan. 15, 1992, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ,, not far from Lambertville, where fie lived all his life. There he had his Own office as a selfemployed architect, designing residences, schools, and community buildings in New Jersey and surrounding states.

After a year of graduate school at Princeton, Bill joined CzechAmerican architect Antonin Raymond as an associate. They collaborated on war work, including much of the design of Camp Kilmer. Drafted in 1942 and shifted to England, he received a direct commission in the First Battalion Aviation Engineers. He designed airfields in England, France, and Germany, After the war, he earned his master's of architecture at M.I.T. and then returned to Lambertville to establish his own practice.

Bill served on the board of the Phillips Memorial Hospital Fund for many years, several as president. fie helped to establish the PhillipsBarber Health Center and was a trustee of the Hunterdon Medical Center.

To Janet, Bill's wife of 40 years, their daughter Anne, White, sons Peter and Thomas '78, and two grandchildren, we offer our sincere condolences.
