William P. E. Doelger ’24

Body

PETER DOELGER died at his home in West Palm Beach on Nov. 12, 1992. After graduation, Peter received an M.S. from M.I.T. and worked there as a research associate until 1932, when he became associated with Merck. He was called upon to head up his family business, Peter Doelger, Inc.,in 1937. It was founded as a brewing company by his grandfather in 1850 and was the last of New York's big real estate firms based on the holdings of the early German brewing families. After it was liquidated in 1961, Peter moved to Florida, where he was active in civic and alumni affairs. He is survived by his widow, Josephine; by his three sons, Peter, William, and Thomas; by his daughter, Charlotte Bonmartini; and by six grandchildren.

To them we extend our sympathy.
