William S. Till ’32

BILL TILL, who resided in Naples, Fla., died July 10, 1994, at Hospice of Naples. During his business career, Bill lived in northern New Jersey and worked for Westinghouse. He served as vapor-lamp sales engineering manager for the Westinghouse lamp division. He retired in 1976 and moved to Florida.

Bill was a fellow and former Norcheast regional v.p. of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, was the author of numerous technical papers dealing with lamps and lighting, and held memberships in numerous organizations. His hobbies included golf, gardening, bridge, and piano-playing.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Joan Read Stone Till, in 1988. He is survived by his son, Jonathan; two daughters, Diane Till Lewis and Suzanne Till Decker; and three grandchildren. The sympathy of the class goes out to all of them.
