Wat entered Princeton from Hotchkiss and was active in musical organizations including the choir, Glee Club, the Nassoons, Triangle Club, and Jazz Band. An active church member, he was an elder of the Presbyterian Church in Princeton, N.J., Northminster Church in Troy, Mich., and Chevy Chase (Md.) Presbyterian Church.

Wat is survived by Mary, his wife of 66 years; daughters Sally Gilbert and Elizabeth; sons David and John; son-in-law Steven Gilbert ’65; and three grandchildren. The class expresses its sympathy to the family.
