Wolfgang Oscar Weigert ’55

Wolf was born in Berlin and fled to this country from Nazi Germany with his family in 1938.  

He graduated from Sidwell Friends School and came to Princeton. After two years  

Wolf transferred to Swarthmore, where he majored in biology. After med school at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland he completed psychiatry residency at Yale, served in the U.S. Public Health Service Corps, and completed his studies at Georgetown.

For over 30 years he maintained a private practice in Chevy Chase, Md. Wolf also taught classes at Georgetown and George Washington University medical schools. His avocations included ballroom dancing and chess.

His marriage to Dionne Laufman ended in divorce. To her, their two children, and two grandchildren, the class extends deepest sympathy.
