Advances in Analysis: the Legacy of Elias M. Stein

(Princeton University Press) This book draws inspiration from Stein’s contributions to harmonic analysis and related topics in mathematics, gathering papers from internationally renowned mathematicians, many of whom have been Stein’s students at Princeton. It also includes expository papers on Stein’s work and its influence. Fefferman and Ionescu are professors of mathematics at Princeton University. Phong teaches at Columbia University, and Wainger is professor emeritus at the University of Wisconsin.
