All The Ways to Go (Sourcebooks) tells the story of chess prodigy Milo Bloom, who is tired of playing chess but scared to tell anyone the truth. Instead he throws a major tournament match and ruins his summer plans as his ticket to chess camp was tied to that win. He ends up spending the summer with a new friend, Roxie, and the two discover the game of Go. During their quest to learn everything they can about the game, the two develop a close friendship and Milo is forced to face his feelings about chess and fears about telling his mother the truth.
