The Apocalypse Calendar
(Two Harbors Press) Playing with the intersection of the scientific, historical, and mystical, Pessagno’s novel tells the story of geology professor Frank Miller’s discovery of a mysterious Mayan artifact. The artifact turns out to control geologic time, giving immense power over the forces of nature to Miller and his family. Pessagno is a retired geologist and professor emeritus at the University of Texas at Dallas.
