A syfy romance with strong spiritual and economic themes. A multicultual cast of characters guide the visit of an unintentional time traveler. There are several pages describing a flyover of Princeton in 2102 via a kind of hovercraft. Earth is a backwater, struggling to participate in the vast interstellar trading network established by a humanoid alien civilization who are neither monsters nor mentors.
