Alexander Wolff ’79, a longtime writer for Sports Illustrated, has assembled an anthology of basketball writing in Basketball: Great Writing About America’s Game (Library of America). The anthology covers eight decades and includes profiles of greats like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James as well as a piece by Frank Deford ’61 on Bobby Knight and John McPhee ’53 on Bill Bradley ’65 during his Princeton days.
