(Off the Grid Press) This collection of poems begins with West’s childhood in Beirut where he was born in 1930 and follows the trajectory of his life, from his return from Beirut to the United States, to his life through marriage, the death of his father and his wife, and his return to Beirut in the 21st century. West taught at Williams College and Lawrence University until 1994. His poems have appeared in many journals, including Passager, The Comstock Review, and Salamander.
