Best Practices: A Catalog and Photo Essay About the City of Los Angeles

A visual catalog of the built environment of Los Angeles, California, Best Practices draws on the history of architecture, media theory, and urban studies. It proposes a new way of thinking about the city — not as spaces defined by geography and building codes, by as assemblies of small-scale, ad hoc interventions and ephemera.
