Michael Goldberg, assistant professor of design and innovation at Case Western Reserve University, tells the stories of students around the world who took his popular online course. The class, “Beyond Silicon Valley,” is a massive open online course (MOOC), accessed by students in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, and beyond. In Beyond Silicon Valley: How One Online Course Helped Support Global Entrepreneurs (Self published, free download available: http://www.beyondsiliconvalleybook.com), Goldberg focuses on the stories of 20 entrepreneurs who have taken the online course around the world and where they are now.
