Blood and Ice

(Bantam) In this thriller, journalist Michael Wilde — on a dive in the polar sea — stumbles upon two frozen bodies, bound by chains in Antarctic ice. Beside them is a chest filled with a disturbing cargo. One of the bodies is a nurse of Florence Nightingale, the other a member of the Light Brigade. Wilde’s search to uncover the mystery of this couple takes the reader from the battlefields of the Crimean War to the depths of the Antarctic Ocean. Masello is a journalist and television writer and the author of the supernatural thrillers Vigil and Bestiary.
