Blue Hours (Triquarterly) begins in 1991 Manhattan as Mim befriends and then grows estranged from the privileged dancer Kyra. Daphne Kalotay, a lecturer in the Program in Creative Writing, reconnects these characters in Afghanistan more than 20 years later, after Kyra goes missing from Jalalabad. Blue Hours is a love story filled with adventure and moral complexity.
