Bulldozer: Demolition and Clearance of the Postwar Landscape

Francesca Russello Ammon ’98 releases the first history of the bulldozer, a machine that went from military weapon to essential tool and source of problems in the rapid industrial growth post-Word War II.  Ammon currently works as an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania in city and regional planning and historic preservation.
