The mysterious but comedic Calling Mr. Beige (self-published) follows a superstar as his adoring fans, family, and even his dog, suddenly begin to ignore him. The silent treatment coincides with the appearance of a shuttlecock-shaped birthmark that will eventually lead him to others with the same mark who are likewise practically invisible to others. From there, the novel explores just how much one can get away with when people cease to notice you.
