 Calvin’s Crusaders in the Wars that Made America (Resource Publications) recounts the story of Nathaniel Scudder 1751, a Presbyterian physician who was an early advocate of the rebellion, and his wife Isabella Anderson Scudder. This fictionalized biography takes readers down the path of Scudder’s frustrations with corruption that led him down a journey to a tragic fate. Scudder ultimately became the only person who served in the Continental Congress to die in action in the War of American Independence.
