Candoo!: A Play

(iUniverse) In this play, a Texas businessman makes the Parthenon his corporate headquarters so he can extract a fortune in oil from under the Acropolis — setting up a confrontation between A.J. “Candoo” Jones, who claims he is too valuable an entrepreneur to die, and Zeus, who thinks this egomaniac must be destroyed for such overwhelming hubris. When Zeus' daughter intervenes, Candoo has to choose between love and power, she between life and death. Giuher also is the author of How’s Your Water Working? Some Significant Words in My Life, and Aphrodite, another play based on ideas of the ancient Greeks.
