(BRILL) Since Mongolia removed itself from the collapsing Soviet Bloc more than 20 years ago, the country has been undergoing momentous social, economic, and political changes. This book contains analyses from around the world and across the social sciences, and it forms a substantial part of the state of the art of research on contemporary Mongolia. Dierkes is an associate professor and Keidanren Chair at the Institute of Asian Research at the University of British Columbia.
