(St. Martin’s Press) In this novel, Trees takes us into the world of privileged Eden’s Glen and the Winthrop family. The Winthrops are the pinnacle of business and society in Eden’s Glen — they own the bank upon which most people’s fortunes rise and fall and throw the most exclusive parties upon which most people’s reputations depend. Yet things are not as they seem, as a long-buried secret looms like a thunderstorm, threatening summer tee times and ladies’ lunches. The events that follow show that even money and position cannot preserve their perfect world. Trees also wrote Decoding Love and Academy X.
