Crossing the Line

In order to do so, however, he must examine his own life by exploring that of their ancestor, Hiram Milhouse, a prominent 19th century scientist. Through the weaving of past and present, this novel explores the changing shape of American society and the universality of human emotions over time. Miller is a professor emeritus of political science at Temple University, a published poet, and artist. His play, The Eye of a Bird, has been produced in Philadelphia and New York.
