After suffering an injury and a broken heart, ballerina Nia Washington takes a temporary job at an elite boarding school to give herself time to nurse both body and soul. But shortly after she arrives at the lakeside campus, she discovers the body of a murdered student and her life takes a dark turn when she is drawn into a game of cat-and-mouse with a ruthless killer.
