In the first century, Paul wrote to Christians about important problems in his day like marriage and how Christians should relate to the state. However, Paul does not speak directly to many questions we ask in the 21st century about illegal immigrants, interfaith relationships, and more. Dear Friends (Good Books) is a collection of suggested answers by Episcopalian priest Christopher Webber ’53 who writes them as letters in Paul’s name to places like Washington, California, and Texas.
