(The History Press) Gabrielson chronicles a series of turn-of-the-century sailing races in New York. The New York Yacht Club recruited sailors from Deer Isle in Maine’s Penobscot Bay, and the sailors, undefeated in two series, are considered among America’s greatest sail-racing teams. A former businessman, Gabrielson is now pursuing a graduate degree in history at the Harvard Extension School.
