
The Digital Street
The development of social media has affected all areas of society in unexpected ways, including urban neighborhoods. The Digital Street (Oxford University Press) is the first study of how social media has impacted urban dwellers, particularly minorities, examining how teenagers use it to communicate, leaders and law enforcement use it to police, and how it has in some cases helped to discourage violence.
