(Abbot Press) This medical thriller tells the story of Dr. Bo Richards, who, after saving the life of a drug mule dying in the emergency room, discovers a drug smuggling conspiracy at his prestigious teaching hospital. He becomes a target for the smugglers and learns that the hit-and-run death of his girlfriend, Cory, may not have been an accident. With the help of officer Lisa Folletti and clues from the driver’s CAT scan and Cory’s autopsy X-rays, Bo comes to confront the leader of the Mexican mafia in the MRI suite, and learns the surprising truth. Sherrier is the chief of radiology at the Durham VA Medical Center and an assistant professor at Duke University.
