(Amazon Children’s Publishing) In this picture book intended for children ages 3 and up, a dog explains how hard he works all day, while the illustrations show how humans often see things very differently from him. A humorous look at distinct perspectives, it is intended to inspire children to practice viewing the world through other people’s eyes. Sherman is an assistant professor of history at the Catholic University of America, and lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband, her children, and her dog Tully.
