Don’t Let My Baby Do Rodeo (HarperCollins) is one of The New York Times Book Review’s 100 Notable Books for 2016. The novel follows Maya and Alex, a couple from the Soviet Union, who run into challenges when their adopted son Max turns feral. The three then embark on a journey in search of answers from Max’s birth mother. Author Boris Fishman ’01 teaches creative writing at Princeton, and his work has appeared in The New Yorker, New York Times Magazine, and Wall Street Journal.
