In his first book, Dottie (self-published), Peter Wodtke ’55 writes about the turbulent and extraordinary life of his mother, born Dorthy Mathilde Janssen. This intimate biography details Dottie’s journey as she lived across three continents and accomplished much before her death in 1993. Wodtke also reflects on his mother’s mistakes and the difficulties she faced being born in an era where it was challenging for women to thrive.
