(CreateSpace) Richardson’s novel explores Central Asian and global geopolitical tensions. After Pakistan acquires long-range missile technology from North Korea, enhancing the Pakistani nuclear threat, China invades Pakistan. When a Chinese general betrays China and leaks information to the West, U.S. agent Adam Chin is sent to the region. Once the U.S. and China enter the ring, Dragon’s Paw shifts from a war novel to a complex story of geopolitics, U.S. politics, and romance. Richardson served as a diplomat during Ronald Reagan’s presidency and brings three decades of experience in international politics to his writing.
