(Full Blitz Entertainment, Check Your Head Films, and Tortoise Entertainment) This comedy film written and produced by John Hoyt ’85 follows Chris Long, an ex-NCAA basketball player turned trainer who finds a new purpose when his gym’s new owner, Jack (played by Hoyt), unleashes a lucrative plan to turn the neglected business into a reality show. When Chris’ co-workers resist this new direction, he and Jack form an unlikely alliance in order to save the gym. Hoyt is a model and actor. In 2005, Hoyt began his own production company, Tortoise Entertainment, which develops and produces television and film projects.
