Wounded Army veteran Lucas Athan returns to his job as an art history professor at Princeton in 1944 and struggles to unravel the mystery of an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus that has been shipped to the University’s art museum in this historical thriller. Athan’s story is entwined with that of Albert Einstein, who is living in town and secretly working on the atom bomb.
