After the Russian Revolution in 1917 and before Stalin declared avant-garde art illegal, creativity flourished in Russia. Film Posters of the Russian Avant-Garde (Taschen) documents the amazing art of film posters in the 1920s and ’30s, unearthing many images that haven’t been seen since their creation.
