On the Fringe: Where Science Meets Pseudoscience

On the Fringe attempts to define and understand the controversial phenomenon of pseudoscience. How does an idea become pseudoscience, it asks, and who has the authority to decide? Ultimately, Gordin’s book argues that by understanding doctrines often seen as antithetical to science, we can learn a great deal about how science operated in the past and still does today.
